1.  Science and Physics. Force and types of forces

Вестиме: Sheeba Abraham, I have worked for over 20 years in schools across India, taught the National curriculum-CBSE and ICSE, international curriculum-IGCSE and IB MYP. Currently, I’m working in Pathways School Noida, India teaching Science for grade 8 and Physics for grades 9 and 10. I’m also the former tutor of grade 10 and the Personal Project Coordinator.

Students will be able to understand the concept of force and identify types of forces from daily life scenarios, this will be done with the help of a PowerPoint presentation and demonstration of simple examples. In the end, we will play Kahoot to assess understanding.

3. Gentle Yoga Class with Linda (& her dog Rider)

This session will introduce you to Linda (and her cute dog, Rider) and give you a chance to try her gentle yoga class. Linda teaches yoga, and her class will start with healthy breathing exercises and transition into some fun yoga poses and movements designed to refresh your body and relax your mind. The class is suitable for all ages – all you have to be able to do is breathe and move your body.

4. Edmonton Public Library – Chinese New Year. Making paper lanterns
