4. Sculpture Animal – Wolf

Barbara’s teachings from her grandmothers about the wolf were placed into a plaster sculpture. Learn about the wolf, where it lives, and its importance to Indigenous culture.

5. A New Approach to Learning Math/Science

A general session about a new approach to learning Math / Science. I taught high school physics in Canada primarily with a dash of Chemistry and Biology. In the past few years, I have transitioned to teaching math in middle school and upper school. I am fascinated by the links between the 2 subjects which can sometimes come across as two different languages. By focusing on understanding scales, units and variables it is easy to become fascinated by these precise, yet magical languages and how they apply to our daily lives!
