Вестиме: Sheeba Abraham, I have worked for over 20 years in schools across India, taught the National curriculum-CBSE and ICSE, international curriculum-IGCSE, and IB MYP. Currently, I’m working in Pathways School Noida, India teaching Science for grade 8 and Physics for grade 9 and 10. I’m also the former tutor of grade 10 and the Personal Project Coordinator.

Students will be introduced to the blood ciruclatory system in human body, this will be done with the help of a PowerPoint presentation and demonstration of simple examples.

3. Gentle Yoga Class with Linda (& her dog Rider)

This session will introduce you to Linda (and her cute dog, Rider) and give you a chance to try her gentle yoga class. Linda teaches yoga, and her class will start with healthy breathing exercises and transition into some fun yoga poses and movements that are designed to refresh your body and relax your mind. The class is suitable for all ages – all you have to be able to do is breathe and move your body.

4. Edmonton Public Library – Creative Corner

Do you like to draw, paint, write or build? Today we’ll focus on creativity. We’ll learn about two Canadian Painters: Maud Lewis and Emily Carr, and read such books as Be a Maker, Beautiful oops and Anywhere Artist. Then we’ll make an “Idea book” with simple materials that you can use to paint, draw, or write down your creative ideas. Recommended supplies: 4 pieces of paper, glue or tape.
