2. Fun with Storybooks!

Вестиме: Marissa Bay, I am a second-year university student working towards my Elementary Education Degree. I am originally from Vegreville, Alberta and my grandparents immigrated to Canada from Ukraine. I am very excited to have this fantastic opportunity to teach the children in Ukraine, as the people in Ukraine are very near and dear to my heart.

Each week we will read a new story followed by a fun activity that relates to the book of the week! The activity may be a kahoot, a discussion, or a video etc.. This will allow kids to not only be in touch with their creativity but also help develop their English language skills.

Anne is an Examiner for all levels of the Cambridge ESOL exams. She is the author and co-author of English textbooks for the children.

English is full of onomatopoeia! These colourful words are so useful when you want to make your language and writing come to life! Let’s have fun with words that sound like sounds!!
