1. Colour Mix Up!

Вестиме: Marissa Bay, I am a second-year university student working towards my Elementary Education Degree. I am originally from Vegreville, Alberta and my grandparents immigrated to Canada from Ukraine. I am very excited to have this fantastic opportunity to teach the children in Ukraine, as the people in Ukraine are very near and dear to my heart.

I will introduce primary and secondary colors to students. I will also show what happens when colors are mixed together. Using paint and food coloring students will observe how mixing colors together creates a new color. Students are welcome to show up with their paints!

2. English Club with Adeena

Вестиме: Dima Mohammed, I am 15 years old, and I love math. It is my favorite subject, thus why I am very determined and excited to teach it. I am an organized, kind, and happy person. I love little kids and work very well with them.

4. Livestream from Canada with Sherry Heschuk. Khrustyky Tutorial

Вестиме: Sherry Heschuk, Sherry received her educational training as a Jumps coach from the University of Alberta’s head coach Gabor Simonyi and trained with him as a triple jumper competing in the first event as an exhibition event for women at Canada West University as USports.

We will visit an event hosted by ACUA Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts “Khrustyky Tutorial with Yulia Kamkina”. Khrustyky are Ukrainian fried cookies that are light and sweet, making them a delicious dessert. In this workshop, Yulia will teach participants how to create their khrystyky.
