1. Alexander’s Outing

If you love sharing picture story books, come and join me for an hour of reading!
My four children have grown up and left home so I would love the opportunity to read with you. Together we will meet new characters, visit strange lands, and be inspired, amused, and entertained. We can practice some English and explore Australia (and beyond).

2. Aussie Animals

Enjoy some favorite Australian children’s stories and songs and learn about some Australian animals, culture, food and geography along the way. Animals introduced include possums, wombats, kookaburras, dingos, emus, koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, snakes, barramundi, and cockatoos!

3. Draw and Fun with Adam from Tokyo

We will read funny books and draw cute pictures. Come and have fun!

4. Card Games to Play with Friends and Family

Вестиме: Nathan Treloar, Grade 4 teacher, also known as Mr. T., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

We will learn card games that we can play with a deck of 52 cards. We will learn how to play the game with other people using the same deck of cards. We will also play the game with a partner in a Breakout Room on Zoom. Please bring a standard deck of 52 cards if you have one. If you do not have a deck of cards you are still welcome to join the lesson!

5. Humour in Literature

Spontaneous story writing – let’s create a story with input from everyone. Please come with lots of ideas!

6. Stories and Songs

Dave from Edmonton Public Library reads out loud some of his favorite books, including “Shadow Story”, “Enormous Turnip,” “Gingerbread Cowboy”, and “Are You a Horse?” Come prepared for a good time!
